Housing

Modern living in style

Modular and temporary construction responds to the current demand for fast and temporary solutions, while still allowing space for individual designs. We continually redevelop existing products and create new solutions.

Modular construction in housing makes temporary use of free space, creates short-term additional living space and extends existing homes. It is also perfect for supplementing or consolidating existing housing or for providing replacement buildings during restoration works.

Standardised, sustainable modular timber structures can be freely combined, either on top of one another or side by side. An example of this design concept is the ‘Brothuuse’ housing development, an emergency housing project by Pfarrer Sieber. The modules are made from wood and glass. ‘Brothuuse’ is also well ahead of its time in its resource consumption. The building has already fallen below the threshold of a 2000-watt society.
